WORKDAY KIT / THE DETAILS

Frequently asked questions

A few practical answers before you get back to work.

Using the kit

Are the tools free? Do I need an account?

All 30 tools in this version are free to use, with no account or subscription. They run in your browser without a tool API or backend. Browse all tools or start with a task workflow.

Where should I start?

Choose a workflow if you are completing a wider task such as pricing a project or planning an event. Choose a tool when you already know the calculation you need. Each detail page includes steps, an example, a method and specific limitations. The guides explain the assumptions behind the numbers.

Privacy and saving

Are my inputs uploaded or saved automatically?

Tool inputs and calculations are handled locally in the page. This version does not upload tool data or save it in an account, localStorage or a database. Only your light/dark appearance choice is remembered in localStorage on this device; tool inputs and results are not stored there. A page’s return destination is kept in its browser history entry; it contains a navigation address, not tool inputs. Your browser may independently retain form history or page state. See the Privacy notice for details.

What happens when I refresh or leave a tool?

Do not rely on the page retaining your work. Copy, download or print a result before leaving. Refreshing a case URL may load its fixed teaching inputs again; it does not recover edits you made. Browser back/forward restoration varies, so keep your own copy of anything important.

Does search send my business data anywhere?

The homepage suggestions match a public tool index locally. Submitting a search opens the tools page with the query in the URL. That query may appear in browser history or hosting request logs. Use short tool names or task keywords, not confidential information.

Inputs and results

How do I format CSV input?

Keep the exact header names and order shown in the field. Separate values with commas; put a value containing a comma or line break inside double quotes, and double any quotation mark inside that quoted value. For example, "Design, review",2,60 contains three values. Headers are case-sensitive and must be unique. Each table allows up to 500 data rows and 200,000 characters. Use decimal numbers without thousands separators.

Why are some inputs rejected?

Blank required fields, invalid dates, incompatible CSV headers or values outside a tool’s supported range produce an error. Some tools also check relationships: a rejected quantity cannot equal the whole batch, and optimistic time cannot exceed most likely time. Correct the reported issue and run again. Clear removes the inputs; Load example restores the original sample.

How are precision, currency and rounding handled?

Use the units beside each field and one currency throughout. There is no live currency conversion. Results normally display up to two decimal places; nonzero values below 0.01 use up to six significant digits, and values below 0.000001 use scientific notation. CSV exports retain numeric result precision. Where monetary rounding is applied, half-cents round away from zero. Timesheet amounts round per entry before grouping. Each tool explains its own calculation; unsupported large results are rejected rather than shown with misleading precision.

Are results guaranteed or suitable as official business records?

No. These are planning models based on the values you enter. They do not predict sales, guarantee a delivery date or provide professional accounting, legal or tax advice. Quotes and purchase orders are drafts; packing lists are not carrier labels or customs declarations. Review the tool-specific limits and verify important decisions before relying on a result.

Cases, exports and help

Are the worked cases real customer stories?

No. The four cases are invented teaching scenarios with fixed inputs and explained calculations. Case buttons load those known inputs into the relevant tool. Review them, then run the tool; results are not automatically transferred from one tool to another. Guide photographs illustrate the subject and do not depict the invented businesses.

How do copying, downloads and printing work?

Run the tool first, then choose Copy result, Download CSV or Print result. Copy uses your system clipboard and may require browser permission. If copying is unavailable, select the visible text manually. CSV downloads create a local file; some user text is prefixed to prevent spreadsheet formula interpretation. Print opens the browser dialog, where supported browsers can save a PDF. Available printers and save locations are controlled by your browser and operating system.

Do the tools send orders, invitations or payments?

No. Generating a purchase order does not send it to a supplier, preparing a quotation does not obtain acceptance, and assigning event places or volunteers does not notify anyone. Use your own reviewed records and communication channels for the next step.

How do I report an issue?

Visit Contact and include the tool name, browser, a minimal non-sensitive example, expected result and observed result. You can email contact@nuvellon.win. Please do not include private business files or sensitive personal information. No response time is guaranteed.
